This week’s sports news and what to watch this weekend

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

UCONN wins back to back NCAA Titles. They dominated the field, winning every game by double digits.

MLB

There is an injury crisis in the MLB, specifically with pitchers. There have already been 10+ elbow injuries requiring Tommy John surgery amongst pitchers in 2024. Many blame that pitchers throw too hard and are trying to use speed instead of placement. Ultimately, no one knows why.

GOLF

Bryson DeChambeau leads the Master’s field with a few players finishing the first round this morning after a delay yesterday.

NFL

OJ Simpson has died at age 76 after a battle with cancer.

Does this look like the face of a man that would pull out a gun and threaten to kill someone at Starbucks? Yes, however, still a surprising story from former NFL star, T-Sizzle.
