This weekend’s sports news and what to watch this week
NBA
The NBA draft is complete, here’s a look at all the teams’ picks.
NHL Finals:
On Monday night the Florida Panthers held onto a 2-1 lead to beat the Edmonton Oilers and win their first Stanley Cup in franchise history.
Cool story. Matthew Tkachuck, a star player for the Florida Panthers, went to high school with Jayson Tatum, a star player for the Boston Celtics. Both just won a championship title.
Matthew Tkachuk and Jayson Tatum went to high school together.
Over a decade later, they are both national champions in their respective sports 👏🏆

College Baseball
Also on Monday night, Tennessee baseball won their first national championship after defeating Texas A&M in the 3rd and final game in the series.
Texas A&M is down bad. Not even 24 hours after the game and after he said in a press conference that he wouldn’t be going anywhere — Texas A&M head coach, Jim Schlossnagle, took a head coaching job at Texas.
