This weekend’s sports news and what to watch this weekend

COLLEGE BASKETBALL

Weird scene before the NC State - Texas Elite 8 matchup. The 3-point lines were different from one end of the court to the other. The NCAA was notified of the mistake and fixed the problem after the game as both coaches wanted to play as is.

It’s DJ Burns’ world and we’re just living in it. Apparently, the big man’s paint performance on the floor got NFL teams interested for the offensive line. Someone tell the NFL to let us enjoy college basketball in peace.

FINAL FOUR IS SET

The Final Four is set for both the men’s and women’s tournament tipping off this weekend. If you want to check out highlights from all Elite 8 games click here

UConn and NC State have both their Men’s and Women’s teams in the final four. The first time two schools have done it in the same year

MLB

Ronel Blanco throw the first no-hitter of the season in his 8th MLB start. It’s also the earliest no-hitter of any season in baseball history

GOLF

Turns out it’s more Jaegar than Meister. Stephan Jaeger wins the Texas Children’s Houston Open for his first PGA Tour victory

Scottie Scheffler had this putt to force a playoff, and probably win, but it lipped out leaving him with a second place finish
